CALL FOR NOMINATIONS FOR THE DLMPST COUNCIL AND OFFICERS (2028-2031)

On 15 March 2026, the Council of the DLMPST approved new Election Procedures for the election of its officers and Council members. The document can be consulted by following this linkIn accordance with these Procedures, the DLMPST hereby opens the call for nominations.

All member organizations of the DLMPST are invited to submit nominations for officers and members of the DLMPST Council for the 2028–2031 term. The new Council will be elected at the DLMPST General Assembly, to be held at the next CLMPST in Kobe, Japan, on 23-28 August 2027.

All nominations must be made according to the nomination procedure adopted by the Council of the DLMPST, as follows:

1. Nominations must be made in writing, by either
   1.1 a member organization, or
   1.2 the Executive Committee (EC), acting on behalf of the Council of the DLMPST

2. All nominations must be formally accepted in writing by the nominee.

3. Each nomination shall include:
   3.1 A cover nomination letter signed by an authorised representative of the nominating organisation. The letter should explicitly specify the position(s) for which they are made.
   3.2. A letter from the nominee accepting the nomination.
   3.3 The nominee’s curriculum vitae (CV) (maximum three pages).
   3.4 A short statement outlining the nominee’s vision and potential contribution to the Council. This vision statement may be provided either as a one-page written document, or as a pre-recorded two-minute video.

4. Each nomination must be submitted as a single zip file containing all nomination materials. The file should be named using the nominee’s surname and given name and sent by email to DLMPST(dot)nominations(at)gmail(dot)com, not later than January 31, 2027.
